Styles in the catalog
What a style is, how to pick one, and how to change colors and type afterwards.
A style is a preset: one color palette plus one type pairing, sometimes on a dark background. Every design ships with several, shown as chips on its card in the catalog and on its details page.
Picking one
In the catalog, press a chip under a design and the editor opens with that style already selected. On a design's details page, every style has two links: Demo, to see the finished sample in that style, and a link to build with that style, which opens the editor with it. You can also open the editor and pick colors and type directly.
Changing your mind
Styles are only a starting point. After picking one, the color and type choices still work on their own, so you can keep the type and change the colors, or the other way round. On a live site, press Edit in your account, change them, and publish.
Dark styles
Some styles use a dark background. They look best with strong photos and fewer words. If your photos are mixed, a light style is the safer pick.
Cost
Every style is included on the free plan. What the paid plan adds is in Signature motion and video and What is free and what the paid plan adds, not in styles.
Custom colors
You pick from the palettes the design offers. The editor has no free color input. If your brand color is not close to any of them, contact us with the hex code and the site address and we will tell you what we can do.
