A zip of every published page with its styles, images and your uploads, your content, CSVs of orders and entries, and a file to connect your forms, any time from your account. What keeps working on another host and what you still set up.

You can download your published site from your account at any time. Sign in at app.pixelpulsenova.com, open My sites, press Manage on the site, then press "Download site".

What is in the zip

Every published page as HTML, with its styles, scripts, fonts and images inside the zip, including the photos you uploaded. The home page is index.html; every other page is a folder with its own index.html, so /menu is menu/index.html.
Your content as JSON (nova-config.json): the text, lists, image addresses, colors, font and sections you set in the editor. It is kept for your records.
forms-config.js, where you connect the site's forms to a form service or to an email address (mailto:).
On a store design, orders.csv with your orders. On the designs with dated entries (blog, news, courses, events), one entries-<list>.csv per list.
A README that lists the pages included and explains the rest of this article.

The zip is the version that is live, not unpublished changes in the editor. If a page or the content file could not be found when the zip was made, the README says which.

Putting it on another host

The pages are plain static HTML and the zip does not depend on Nova to display. You can open it by double-clicking index.html, or upload the whole folder, as it is, to any host that serves files.

Keeps working: the pages, the images, the styles, the fonts and the scripts.
Needs a connection: an embedded Google map still loads from Google.
Needs you: forms. Nova delivers the message from a form; outside Nova it has nowhere to go until you set up forms-config.js. Messages sent through the forms before were emailed to you and are not stored, so there is nothing to export for them.
Not included: Signature motion and the 3D effect on some designs, which load from outside services. The zip is the calm version of the site, and a free site keeps its "Built with Nova" line in the footer.

What it is not

It is not an export to Wix, WordPress or another builder. Those tools cannot open the zip as an editable site. What you get is a working copy of the pages and your content in files you keep.

How often

Any time, as often as you like. Download again after each change you publish if you want an up-to-date copy.
